Our retreats take place roughly once a month in different locations. We announce upcoming retreats here and through our mailing list. Our current venues are Coolattin Lodge in County Wicklow, and the Gyreum Ecolodge in County Sligo.
A typical weekend begins with dinner on Friday evening, and finishes on Sunday or, for our Bank Holiday retreats, Monday afternoon.
In future we are planning themed and international retreats and are always interested in hearing about potential sites and collaborators. We are also open to discussing the organisation of private group retreats.
Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more.
The days involve a mix of hatha yoga practice, long walks and activities in the surrounding landscape, shared banquets for brunch and dinner and fireside games and conversation by night. We facilitate all levels of yoga on the retreats, and have often hosted first timers.
While yoga is the primary activity of the retreats, we see its practice as integrated within a whole weekend. The sharing of and preparation of food is really important, and we encourage and facilitate exploration of the countryside and outdoor pursuits. Through these shared activities, conversation and meals, the retreats often lead to new friendships.
